NMS Free Thrift Store Project!
Our Grade 6/7FI class is excited to announce a cross-curricular sustainability project (Fila/Science) — the creation of a Free Thrift Store right here at Nackawic Middle School!
We invite families to take part by donating clothing, shoes, toys, games and decorations that are still in good condition and clean but are no longer being used. Our students will take the lead in collecting, sorting, and organizing these items, which will then be available for our school community and families during the week of December 1 – 5.
This project is a wonderful way to reduce waste, promote reusing, and give new life to perfectly good items — while helping one another and our environment.
